Introduction to Wounds and Dressings, learn how to apply dressings and bandages

 

 Has your pet ever sustained a wound? If so, did you know what type of wound? Were you able to dress it correctly? If the wound was on a limb were you able to apply the bandage correctly without, discomfort to your pet? It is a common fact that wounds left untreated can become infected and take longer to heal

  This workshop is a good follow on to First Aid as it will look at the different wounds and how to correctly, apply dressings.

  wounds - Learn the difference between the different types of wounds

 Treatment of Open wounds

  Treatment of closed wounds

Understand the different types of dressings and what they are used for

Bandaging Techniques - Learn to apply bandages to the limbs, head and tail
